Ryker was born at 25 weeks gestation and spent several months in the NICU. On Angels’ Wings was there to capture his NICU graduation. His mom, Alex, a talented photographer, has since been a dedicated volunteer with the organization, giving precious photos to other families whose child is at risk.

“I have learned so much by being involved with this organization. I truly feel like I have become a better photographer with having to be put in difficult situations to document. In many circumstances the pictures I take are the only photos that family will get of their angel baby. I take that very seriously and I feel like it’s an honor to be able to provide that for a family. Serving for other families has helped me deal with my own trauma/PTSD and it has been extremely therapeutic for me. OAW has been there for me since day one of delivering my 25 weeker and I will always be so incredibly grateful for that.”
