Jessica began volunteering with OAW in May of 2015 – our second full year serving the community. In 2018, her season of life meant she needed to take a break from volunteer, but she returned in September of 2021 and has been volunteering since!
The first time she spoke with our founder, Michelle Cramer, about volunteering in 2015, Michelle mentioned the organization desired to have a photographer mentorship program one day. Then, in 2023, Jessica was critical in helping to actually develop and launch that mentorship program mentioned so many years ago!
Jessica owns Glass Elephant Photography in St. Louis and is currently working toward a master’s degree in genetic counseling, due in part to her experiences with OAW families! We’re so grateful for and proud of her!
